About Darius

Darius Mitchell is a versatile DJ, choreographer, and dancer from Pennsylvania. His love for music, mission to positively impact the world, and desire to give people joy drove him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry at the age of 16. Darius won dance awards at national talent competitions and trained with world-renowned dance educators. These early experiences prepared him for a successful multifaceted career as a DJ, choreographer, and dancer.

 

Darius launched his entertainment career eight years ago. He choreographed, taught, and/or performed for Philadelphia Flyers Ice Team, Six Flags Great Adventure, Cutting Edge Entertainment, Hot Hot Hot Entertainment, Sanbrooka Productions, IMPACT Dance Complex, Freestyle Dance Academy, and Galaxy Dance & Fitness Complex. Darius joined the award-nominated Roger Lee Dance Company as a dancer in 2024 and was promoted to Production Assistant in 2025. As an entrepreneurial entertainer, he launched his own entertainment company Trident Entertainment, LLC in 2024. Darius’ professional performance credits include 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade (live national television special), Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Union, Doylestown Pride Festival Block Party, and Philadelphia Youth Basketball Gala.

 

Darius gives back by volunteering as a performer for charitable events. Through his work with IMPACT Dance Complex, Darius had the pleasure of performing for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Prom, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia King of Prussia Fundraiser, and The Next Step Program’s Friendsgiving.
